I know I have a lot of non-U.S. readers and even those of us in the U.S. probably don’t remember much we learned in school about the 4th of July.
So for all of us to learn more about the 4th of July, I’ve enlisted the help of this School House Rocks video:
I think there’s a few things that aren’t accurate, but it’s entertaining at least – what’s there not to love about 70′s animation?
Be safe out there & have a happy 4th of July! If you are playing with fireworks this weekend, be careful! Also PLEASE don’t drink and drive. I want you to have a HAPPY 4th of July, not a stupid one
Happy 4th of July. I’m out of U.S, please somebody sponsor my flight. I want to see firework! LoL.
p/s: Firework is banned on my country, duh!

I LOVE Schoolhouse Rocks. I grew up with it. For the holiday, I actually posted three explaining what led up to Independence day. It was a lot of fun.

Well I had a good 4th of July. Somehow I have seen this video before. I blasted off some fireworks and they were well. In Quakertown we saw fireworks that lasted half an hour!
I’ve always liked school house rocks too
Glad you all had a good one!
Thanks for a great list of ideas. I’ve scribbled down a couple to try out. I particularly like the idea of having upcoming events featured there.
