Last night we were eating out at one of our favorite Chinese Restaurants when the funniest thing happened to the lady at the table beside us.
I couldn’t react fast enough to snap a picture (we were laughing WAY too hard) but will try to recreate what happened here through pictures.
Here is what the restaurant looks like:
She was sitting at the round table, we were at the booth directly next to them.
The waiter came out with their food…and dropped her ENTIRE MEAL right into her purse that was sitting on the floor!
So imagine something looking like this:

That poor lady…it was so funny…and of course he was apologizing up and down and trying to get everything out of the purse…everything was covered in garlic shrimp & rice & veggies!
The people at the table were so mad, which made me feel bad for the waiter. I understand accidents happen. It probably didn’t help matters though that we couldn’t stop laughing about it!

something similar happened to me last week while in one of the fast-foods here in Japan. the waitress spilled the seaweed soup on my lap. she was lucky, i was cool headed that day.

Wow. I would have laughed my ass off too. People should really relax about stuff like that. If a waiter dumped my meal into my purse I would probably crack up.

We left him a pretty good tip since we got some entertainment in addition to his good service. I would have laughed just as hard if it had been me.
This is funny. I hope the waiter is fine, and it is unfair the waiter gets all the blame for bad food too.

LOL, awww, that poor waiter!! I hope she cleaned her purse properly, I’d hate to find 2 week old shrimp or something.. Glad you gave him a big tip though
