But I think there are more effective ways of doing it - i don't think those barriers like in my pic even do a good job of preventing catastrophe. coops i love new jersey. Those blocks are there to keep a car from running into the gas pumps. I worked in gas stations and truck stops for many years, and I had the misfortune of seeing an out-of-control car hit a gas pump that wasn't protected. Ever see a geyser of gasoline? It wasn't pretty. Very dangerous, too. Annoying as those blocks are, they are there for your safety. Those blocks are there to keep a car from running into the gas pumps.
