Are we this gullible as society or is it worse to believe that the heavens think we’re so stupid that toast it the only way to send us a message?

The french fry itself is not as rare as one would think. Anyone who’s spent a lot of time making french fries can tell you if you leave them in the fryer too long you’re bound to get a few that get burnt and curl.
