Here’s another example of blatant begging that was spotted by a favorite blogger of mine Ivyology.

Help this woman get a boob job:

I’m assuming these aren’t her boobs now, but the ones she hopes to get. She has been saving for years and still doesn’t have enough to get the breasts of her dreams. She could have posted a picture of her chest now so at least we could verify she really needs one. Yeesh.

Next, the Jesus Apparition Sandal:

This sandal is about 2 months old and after wearing it a few times the seller was creeped out that Jesus was on it an staring at him. Many people inquired about the other shoe – which sadly is apparition free. Despite the lack of an apparition on the other sandal, the sale does include both shoes.

Finally today we have a Mystery Spaghetti Recipe:

Again, is it too much to ask that the seller actually post a picture of the item you are bidding on? A recipe card, a picture of the made spaghetti…clip art of a cook and a frying pan just doesn’t inspire me to bid $150,000.  If you really want a spaghetti recipe, there are 300 FREE spaghetti recipes on AllRecipes.com.

The seller ran out of lettuce one day and decided to put something “different” between 2 slices of bread. Of course, you’re not actually getting money in the sandwich. According to the seller the “sandwich may contain paper, rocks and glitter. You are bidding on 2 slices of bread, whatever you find in between is my gift from me to you!” Sounds appetizing, doesn’t it?

What’s that? Can’t see it? Oh, that’s because it’s ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! For a cool $500,000 you can buy absolutely nothing. Why would you want to do this? So you can enter yourself in the Guinness Book of Records for being the highest bidder for absolutely nothing of course!

The Nana Banana Octupus:

Cute, isn’t it? Supposedly this has something to do with a woman stalking Conan O’Brien. But even still, it’s a banana peel that someone glued googly eyes to. And banana peels rot. It has not been preserved or laquered over. So you’re going to get a rotten banana peel…with googly eyes glued to it. Nice. I wish I had one.

 
Here we have a magic leaky gas can:

The seller is claiming that it “Never runs out of gas!” chalking it up to the reputable science of “Magic, Magic, Magic I tell you!” We have to give this seller some credit though, at least he’s giving you something – even if it’s not what he claims it to be…

These two really take the cake: Blatant Begging

These sellers are selling…absolutely nothing. No, the cat is not for sale. It was posted by a woman who wants $100,000. She just likes her cat. The guy next to the cat is not for sale either. He wants $250,000. The poor guy is driving a ’92 Ford Festiva. It’s stuff like this that gives you a whole new respect for rotten banana peels and magic leaky gas cans.

But in reality, it’s a LUCKY battery. The seller claims to have won the lottery and find money after using it in his Walkman.  It also saved his life once and now maybe it can save yours.

Next thing I found - Antique Toilet Paper.

This is authentic 1968 toilet paper, which made us wonder, is there someone who actually collects toilet paper? We searched high and low (okay, maybe we just searched the first 3 pages on Google) but couldn’t find anyone. 

Today’s last item is the Illinois Cornflake.

A word of advice, if you’re going to sell a food item that supposedly looks like something else…it should actually look like what you say it looks like.

That reminds us…remember Nike French Fry from last week? It’s down from $100k to $4500. And the seller is now throwing in a bottle of ketchup.
