You can tell when winter is almost over when you start seeing people ride their bicycles everywhere. One thing I could never understand is why these bikers inevitably ride their bikes in stupid places.

Imagine the conversation these people must have:
“Honey, I’m going on a bike ride.”
“Oh, that sounds nice! Are you going to go to one of the 45 bike trails nearby or just do a few laps around the cul de sac?”
“Oh no…I’m going to bike on the steepest road with the most blind spots that I can find. Then I’m going to ride my bike on the side of a four lane highway.”
“Okay honey, that sounds WONDERFUL! Have fun being passed by irate drivers!”
Do people think this through before they get on their bike? Or since I’m not a biker am I just missing the logic behind riding on busy/dangerous roadways and pissing drivers off?

Makes me wonder too. Maybe they like the polluted highways so much? I dunno.
I’m not a biker.

Ok, from an english point of view, that looks like a bike lane. I’d be confused too.
